Aftercare Instructions

Microblading/Powder Brows

  • You may gently clean the area with a mild cleanser or antibacterial soap and water nightly (no scrubbing!) Then gently pat dry and apply ointment after. Do not touch your eyebrows with your fingers as this can increase your chance of infection. Do not apply makeup, facial wash, or exfoliants to the treatment area during the healing process. Keep ointment on the area for 7-10 days until the area is healed and done scabbing. Do not oversaturate the area, but don't let them get dried out, only a small amount is needed applying ointment 3 times daily. You may notice flaking and itching, this is normal and a part of the healing process. After brows are completely healed only apply moisturizer, sunscreen, and makeup to them, as other skincare products can lighten the pigment.

Lip Blush

  • Do not touch your lips with your fingers as this can increase your chance of infection. Do not apply makeup, facial wash, or exfoliants to the treatment area during the healing process. Keep ointment on the area for 7-10 days until area is healed and done scabbing. Keep lips moist!!

Paramedical Tattooing (Scar Camouflage and Areolas)

  • Keep bandage or wrap on treatment area for 4-5 days. After you take the bandage off, gently clean the area with antibacterial soap and water, gently pat dry and apply ointment after. You can keep plastic wrap on top of ointment so that clothes don't get goopy. Do not touch treatment area with your fingers as this can increase your chance of infection. Wash treatment area nightly with antibacterial soap and apply more ointment. Keep ointment on the area for 7-10 days until area is healed and done scabbing.

During the first several days and immediately after treatment, the pigment or ink will oxidize; this makes the treatment area look darker. After treatment area is healed, its not unusual for area to look patchy and lighter in color (this is why we require a touch up!) Normal activity can be resumed immediately, with only light exercise the first week of healing. Avoid getting treatment area submerged in water for 10 days, or until completely healed.

Piercing Aftercare

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Clean your piercing until it is fully healed, which can take several months depending on your piercing and your own body. Apply sterile saline to non-woven sterile gauze, and use it as a gentle compress for 5 minutes morning and evening, or spray sterile saline solution to piercing twice daily. Do this no more than twice a day. You can also use a gentle cleanser daily on your piercing, I recommend Dial Antibacterial Soap. Moisture can cause irritation. Dry well afterward using a clean paper towel or using the cold setting on a hairdryer.

Be careful not to aggravate your new piercing. This includes washing and styling your hair, putting on or removing clothing, and sleeping on your fresh piercing. When you shower, make sure all soaps or shampoos are clear of the area.

Expect build-up of dried matter on the piercing, use warm water on a paper towel (or a warm, gentle shower setting) to reduce the matter.

Be careful when doing any strenuous exercise when healing a fresh body piercing, and we suggest avoiding wearing tight clothing.

Do not remove your jewelry during its healing time as it will begin to close immediately.

We suggest you avoid swimming in chlorinated pool water or freshwater lakes during the healing process.

Earrings are small and can be a chocking hazard for children.
